    Why this exists

    Still untangling fairy lights
    in the dark?

You get to camp late, it’s already dark, and the string lights come out of the tub as one knot. The torch is flat. The lantern is somewhere in the boot. None of that is your fault — loose wire always tangles, and every single-job gadget is one more thing to charge.

    The knot

Loose wire tangles in the tub no matter how carefully it went in. Ten minutes of your evening, every single trip.

    The pile

Lantern, torch, string lights, power bank. Four things to pack, four things to charge, and one of them is always dead.

    The fix

Lights that live wound inside the lantern, on one battery. Pull them out, hang them, wind them back in.

    How it works

Your whole camp, lit in thirty seconds

    1. 1

      Pull the lights out

Ten metres of warm string light comes straight off the reel in the side of the lantern. No untangling, because it never tangled.

    2. 2

      Hang it anywhere

Three magnets grip the car, the truck or the tailgate. The fold-out hook takes a tent pole, an awning rail or a branch.

    3. 3

      Wind it back in

When you pack up, the reel takes it all back inside. It goes in the bag as one object, ready for the next trip.

    The reel

10 metres, wound inside the lantern

The string light lives on a reel built into the side of the light, so it comes out straight and goes back the same way. That is the whole idea: the wire never gets a chance to knot, because it is never loose in a bag.

Pull out, light up, wind back in.

    Four in one

    Pack one thing, not four

Lantern for cooking and sitting around. String lights for the awning. Flashlight for walking to the toilet block. And a USB power bank that tops up your phone when there is no socket for miles.

    Mounting

Magnet, hook, or flat on the table

Three magnets in the back hold it to any steel surface — car door, truck panel, tailgate. The fold-out hook hangs it from a tent pole or a branch. Hands free either way.

      Straight answers

What it does, and what it doesn’t

Camp gear gets oversold. Here is the honest shape of it, so nothing about this light surprises you at the campsite.

      1. 01

It won’t light up a football field

This is a campsite light, not a floodlight. What it will do is light your whole site warm and cosy — the table, the awning, the space between the tent and the truck — without blinding you or the people camped next to you.

      2. 02

Don’t drop it in the river

It is rated IPX4, which means rain and splashes are fine — a wet night, a hose, a drink knocked over. It is not submersible, and we would rather say that plainly than write “waterproof” and let you find out.

      3. 03

        It won’t run your fridge

The built-in battery is there to top up a phone when you are off grid — enough to get your maps back, or send the message saying you arrived. It is a power bank in your lantern, not a leisure battery.

      4. 04

One cable, one thing to charge

USB-C in, USB out. The same cable as your phone, so there is no proprietary brick to lose and nothing that still runs on AAs you forgot to buy.

Rain-proof to IPX4 — rain and splashes are fine, submersion is not. Runtime depends on which mode you use, so we always say “up to”.

      Questions

      Before you buy

How does the string light work?

Pull the 10 metres of light out of the reel in the side, hang it wherever you want it, then wind it back in when you pack up. Because it lives on the reel it never gets loose enough to tangle.

      String light:

      Is it waterproof?

It is IPX4 rated, so it handles rain and splashes without trouble. Don’t submerge it.

      Water resistance:

      Will it charge my phone?

Yes. The built-in battery gives your phone a top-up when you are off grid. It is a top-up rather than a full charge, which we would rather say up front.

      Battery:

      When will it arrive?

What’s the warranty, and can I return it?
